Overview
The BP2866XJ is an external OVP (Output Current Valve) buck LED constant current driver chip. Operating in inductor current critical continuous mode, it is suitable for non-isolated buck LED constant current power supplies with a full input voltage range of 85Vac to 265Vac. The chip's ROVP pin has an Enable function, suitable for switching, color-changing, and sensor lamp applications.

The BP2866XJ chip integrates a 500V power switch, employing gate demagnetization detection technology and high-voltage JFET power supply technology. This eliminates the need for a VCC capacitor and start-up resistor, simplifying external components and saving on cost and size.

The BP2866XJ chip utilizes a built-in high-precision current sampling circuit and constant current control technology to achieve high-precision LED constant current output and excellent line voltage regulation. Operating in inductor current critical mode, the output current remains unchanged regardless of inductance or LED operating voltage, achieving excellent load regulation.

The BP2866XJ features multiple protection functions, including LED short-circuit protection, chip power supply undervoltage protection, external OVP (Overvoltage Protection Function), and chip temperature overheating regulation.

The BP2866XJ is packaged in an SOP7 package.
